Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
You can think of it as joining two sentences and needing to choose the correct relative pronoun to do that:
- C’est la raison. + Il est absent pour la raison.
As two separate sentences, they don't convey that much meaning.
To combine them, you need to use the relative pronoun « laquelle » since the noun « la raison » is feminine singular and say… - C'est la raison pour laquelle il est absent.
What we did here is that we replaced « la raison » with the relative pronoun « laquelle » in the first sentence, brought it and the preposition « pour » to the start, and then combined the two sentences together.
