Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Par exemple
Ou est-ce que le "donc" est placed at the end of a conclusion and it still makes sense
Le plus souvent, ça veut dire "donc", mais aussi "therefore" par exemple
I dont think i understand
My question: sometimes I see sentences end with "donc", where "donc" doesn't precede any conclusion. For example #🌈anglais-français message
Why is "donc" used in this way? Is it the same as ending a sentence in English with "so"?
oh i misunderstood the french message
i think it lacks like "..." at the end
je révise toujours chez moi, donc...
as if the conclusion was left to the reader, it can happen in english as well
this guy said his class was boring, but anyway he revises at home, so...
[so it doesn't matter if he's on discord while in class]
does it make sense?
