Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
« il faut » means a necessity whereas « avoir besoin (de) » means an obligation. It’s a subtle difference but the key is that the first implies something objective whereas the second implies something more subjective. For example:
(1) Il faut que je parte / Il me faut partir
Something is making me leave be it a work left unfinished or a deadline.
(2) J’ai besoin de partir.
Something within me is making me leave like I’m feeling sad so I can’t be here anymore.
