Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
not really
Nope, it would demand a new clause with a different subject.
French likes to use its nonfinite verb forms – infinitives, participles, gerundives, etc – when you have another clause with the same subject. In English, saying, 'I feel like I'm a new woman' or 'I hope that I can help you' is perfectly natural and it is too in French but there's a tendency to not repeat the subject and go, « J'ai l'impression d'être une nouvelle femme (I feel like being a new woman) » or « J'espère pouvoir vous aider (I hope to be able to help you) ».
'I feel like it's a new woman' would be « J'ai l'impression que c'est une nouvelle femme. »
