Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Whenever I'm doing anything for practice, it seems as if I can't understand what they're saying or the text is talking about at all.
If you have a set of texts at differing difficulties, say you have a text at A1, a text at A2, a text at B1, etc., you can read from the bottom and work your way up until you do find something you can read/listen to
In a more relevant sense, what exactly prevents you from understanding a text? Do you understand the words in isolation but not in context? Do you understand the structure but not the words itself? Or are you just completely unable to understand be it structure, vocabulary, or whatever?
