difficult to find a shorter word that sœur but if you're looking for like an equivalent of sis then frangine might be your word

frr or fr are still pronounced frère
it's just abbreviated
and not everyone uses it (I, for instance, never would… it's too young for me)
sœur can be abbreviated "sr" but I've mostly seen that used when talking about nuns, so it would give a very different feel from fr lol
