Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
It enforces that its true like "they are indeed x"
The adverb bien is used to bring a confirmation to the statement, to the belief.
Here, it's used to ensure a confirmation to a doubt.
As it was stated, it is emphasis. This is a validation of the statement.
It's similar in usage to what you guys do with "do". Did you do your homework ? Yes I did do them. You're validating the fact that you did them by adding some emphasis to the statement. Same construction here "-AS-tu fait des devoirs ? -Oui, j'ai bien fait mes devoirs" <== bien is the validation of the statement as in "I did do"
The "did" is the emphasis there, not "do"
