Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Vous pourrez leur en envoyer ==> you'll be able to send them some
"en" is a pronoun that refers back to "emails".
woauh that was fast 🙂
merci pour la réponse rapide!
so basically you can use "en" without "de"
i thought they always needed "de"
If the sentence were said in full, "emails" would be introduced by "des", which is part of the "de" family:
Vous pourrez bien sûr leur envoyer des emails aussi !
So this is the normal "de" case.
No worries!
Once thing to remember is that pronouns don't replace words as they appeared before, but rather as they would appear in the current sentence.
I think this is something many learners don't necessarily internalize.
So they often look for a "de" or an "à" in the previous sentence to explain an "en" or an "y"
