Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
My goal is to avoid sounding like Google Translate and more like a youner Parisian. Also if there's a difference between written and spoken such as (ce pas), please let me know :)
If you want to sound local, you have no choice but to learn the language.
Memorizing phrases won't cut it, simply because the chance that the conversation goes just as you imagined it in your head is very low, and much lower than you apparently realize.
I understand! I just want some ammo to practice speaking aloud in a way that I will be able to contextualize
you could try using DeepL
looking at the phrases you shared, it'll do a good job of translating them
Thank you!
