They're object pronouns
they're more accurately called disjunctive or tonic pronouns
the accusative pronouns in french are like me, te, etc.
in english all of these pronouns are the same, but in french basically anytime a pronoun isn't immidiately attached to a verb either as the subject, direct object, or indirect object, then it's a tonic pronoun
so for instance you say de lui, avec moi, etc.
they can also be used to stress the topic of a sentence
