Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

I think there's many pseudo rules out there to guess whether it is masculine or feminine by looking at the ending of the word, but I believe it never works that well.

It could even be truly misleading.

So yeah, unfortunately, it's about memorizing, trying to discern patterns where you can confidently think you did (even though you'll probably be wrong from time to time, but it's fine)

It's about training and experimentation, trials and errors.

you can find some patterns indeed (like most nouns ending with -tion are feminine), but you will always find exceptions to these 🤷‍♂️
