and thanks guys, I can see palet on word reference, I think the host of these podcasts has maybe some dyslexia, writes the same word twice quite a few times. Good chance he just didn't know how the word was spelt and just wrote something that sounds the same

« rondelle » is our common word yes

never heard « palet » here, but on TV they might say « disque », and « puck » (or québécified « poque ») is very frequent
