Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
L'Alliance française is a French organization. One of its main goals is to teach French as a foreign language, so yeah, it's pretty serious and pretty good.
Also very expensive
But worth it
Especially if you’re starting out
At a higher level you’re better off self studying (I learned more from chatting on this discord than I did at an Alliance Française B1 course)
Yeah in any case, wether you're taking courses or not, practicing and chatting with natives is essential
Depending on your level and your learning process, you can do both, or hire a private tutor or just interact with natives as much as you can
What does "BBB" mean?
In Canada we have SLE or Second Lanugage Equivalency for work. It's a fancy certificate that just says, "hey I speak x language at x level"
There is E,A,B, and C level. E being fail and inability to speak and C being the highest level.
Some people also refer to C level as a native speaker. I need at least a B level in order to get this job I'm working towards
I think your point is valid, practicing and chatting with natives is definitely the way.
