j'ai beaucoup de probleme avec l'imparfait vs passé composé, est-ce que c'est correct?

Looks great except maybe this line: « Il ajoutait (1) qu’il ne pas (2) fallait nier les difficultés et il a précisé que nous devions (3) être lucides. »
(1) Is adding something an action or background event with duration?
(2) Here it’s not the conjugation itself but the negation « ne … pas ». Negation is only bunched up like that if the verb it modifies is an infinitive; « falloir » is conjugated so the negation should wrap around the verb.
(3) « devoir » is the imperfect closer in meaning to ‘was/were supposed to’ so unless that was your intended meaning, consider revising the tense or the verb.
