Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

are you listening to lots of French content? exposure to the language helps, you'll slowly become accustomed to the different/foreign sounds
to practice pronunciation, you'll need to first listen then do your best to imitate what you hear
so replay the video or recording to listen again and again to that word you want to practice, then try to pronounce out loud what you hear
to the best of your ability

When words sound different in isolation vs. in a sentence, look up the pronunciation first in a dictionary, then use https://youglish.com/french
