they're talking about the prepositions used after a verb and before the object
some verbs take nothing
"nettoyer le sol" (clean the floor)
others take à
"parler à quelqu'un" (talk to someone)
others take de
"rêver d'une meilleure vie" (dream about a better life)
many verbs can do more than just one with a meaning change
you should start by taking a look at the articles I just posted
so every verb only takes those three after it? theres nothing else
