The second one, yes, though I don't know why you changed from near future to simple future there. « Je vais en trouver un troisième ». When we're dealing with numbers, you can't omit the noun it modifies, it has to be explicit, so you either include it or you put an « en » to replace it.

En only replaces the noun that follows a number (be it cardinal or ordinal). So you just leave "un troisième" as is.
