What do you mean by learning words ?

What i do is by typing new words down in an excel worksheet and then translate it to my language. And then just keep practicing with those words

It is a good method I think
You can also make some flashcards: one side with a word in english, the other with the traduction
You pick up a card and try to give either the english or the french version of the word

Oh thats also a good idea actually, i suppose you can also find pre made flashcards
