Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Thoughts and beliefs are in the indicative, like penser
Unless they're negative

"croire" does not use the subjunctive in the affirmative. Only when the sentence is negative or interrogative. Other similar verbs like "penser" or "espérer"

Some say it's because it's not a doubt when in affirmative, but in my opinion it's just that rules about subjonctive are pretty organic and sometimes it's just the way it is.

"Je crois que je me suis trompé"
"Je ne crois pas que je me sois trompé"
