i love them, but are there specific issues of these that you would recommend to a beginner in particular?

Across the board they're all going to be challenging for a beginner

since they're written for natives

it really dependson your level

if you were high A2 I think that kind of media could be a good challenge

but at a truely beginner level, I don't personally tend to recommend that people hop right into media made for natives

You'd have to look for stuff specifically geared at learners and I've been out of that loop for too long
