En Pologne, les études au lycée durent quatre ans. On entre au lycée à 14-15 ans. Tout le monde peut choisir sa spécialisation, et à la fin du lycée, on passe le baccalauréat. Nous avons des enseignants differents pour chaque matière. En France, les études au lycee durent trois ans, on entre au lycée à 15 ans. Les étudiants peuvent aussi choisir leur spécialisation, mais ils ont le même professeur pour certaines matières.

My advice in general: accent markers aren't optional. They change the pronunciation and most importantly, the meaning. For instance, sur = "over/on", sûr = "sure"
I can't speak for whether or not native francophones can easily understand you without them though
If it's hard to type them, check out how to enable alternative keyboard layouts or languages in your PC. I use the US-INTL keyboard layout which lets me type accents with combinations of keystrokes and in Windows it's really easy to switch back and forth
Oh sorry, I just reread your message and you already said the problem is you can't type them. In that case yeah I'd recommend enabling a keyboard layout on Windows or Mac or whatever your OS is! (you don't have to buy anything for this)
