Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
This is because the verb here is a pronominal verb (s'appeler, se + appeler) and needs a reflexive pronoun (te).
The difference between appelle and appelles, is that they're conjugated in different forms. You have to do this to use a verb with a subject.
je m'appelle
tu t'appelles
il/elle/on s'appelle
nous nous appelons
vous vous appelez
ils/elles appelent

@fluid dew in french when an action is done to someone else, it comes after the subject
for example, you give me the bread
Tu me donnes le pain
A list is here:
Je/me
tu/te
il or elle/se
nous/nous
vous/vous
ils/se
so I call MYSELF is JE M'appelle (m' because it starts with a vowel, only je/me/te/se follow this rule)
why is it je m'appelle and tu t'appelleS is because of conjugation, this concept happens in english but not often (I eat, he eatS)
To conjugate appeler (to call) is as such
J'appelle
Tu appelleS
Il/elle appelle
Nous appelONS
Vous appeleZ
Ils/elles appellENT
hope this helps
