Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Please do not ping people to respond to your questions. Everything that's done here is done on a volunteer basis. No one owes you a response.
Le monde n'est qu'une scène il vaut mieux rire que pleurer car le rire est le propre de l'homme riez de tout cela ne vous inquietez pas profitons d'aujourd'hui
profite d'aujourd'hui tant que tu veut, tant que c'est pas au détriment des autres :p
@regal notch do you mean like "le mois dernier" vs "le dernier mois"?
Like its 'dernier danse' in indila's song but 'week-end dernier(e)) in a book i read
Adjectives relative to order are placed before the adjective. "dernier" can mean "previous" or "final" and depending on the meaning the position changes.
Had a thiufht about it
Dernière danse: here it means final, there won't be a next one. Because it's relative to order is placed beforehand
Le week-end dernier: here it means previous, it's the last weekend relative to now
What if the end of the world is about to come and its summr. Would we say l'été dernier or le dernier été?
Well if it's about to come it can't be the previous one
"last summer" vs "the last summer" basically
So...?
So what do you think?
