Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Use them in context, make phrases with them. Say, for example, you just learnt the word, « abandonner » and « portable ». Make a sentence with that: « J'ai abandonné mon portable dans la chambre. »
