Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

The subjunctive is a mode of conjugation used to express uncertainty or the possibility of something happening. It's sorta the opposite of the indicative mode, which declares solid and real things.
The tenses are subjunctive present, past, imperfect, and past perfect. (The imperfect and past perfect subjunctive tenses are practically never used when speaking)

For the present you could say something like "J'aurais aimé que nous dansions ensemble" (I would have liked to dance together). For the past an example would be "Il est content qu'il ait réussi son examen." (He is happy to have passed his exam).
(Also the subjunctive is always formed with "que/qu' + personal pronoun + auxiliary (if needed) + conjugated verb)
