#Hey guys, I want to know when to use nous instead of on and vice versa. ( Emma et Moi) do I use nous

According to my prof, in 99% of cases à l'oral (in conversation) you'd use "on"
Unless you're trying to be formal like a guy giving a speech, or another formal context
Found this a pretty good rule of thumba
if you say ''Emma et moi'' only, the verb following this must be confugated in the nous form (e.g. Emma et moi avons fini nos devoirs.)
however, many natives add the pronoun ''on'' after it to avoid conjugating the verb in the nous form (e.g. Emma et moi, on a fini nos devoirs.)
i recommend using the second method in converstions that aren't formal
As a subject pronoun, on has almost completely replaced nous in non-formal situations. However as an object or tonic pronoun, nous is very much still used in all situations.
