Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Ouais ≈ yeah ("oui" is still much more common than "yes" in English, don't just use "ouais" every time)
Si ≈ on the contrary - yes (in opposition to a negative question)
