"y" and "en" are indirect object pronouns.
They are used to replace an indirect object (objects introduced with a preposition)
- "y" is used to replace objects introduced with the preposition "à"
ex: Je vais à Paris -> J'y vais - "en" is used to replace objects introduced with the preposition "de"
ex: Je viens de Paris -> J'en viens
