Car = parce que. But that's more formal. Also, car cannot start a sentence.
yes you can give an answer beginning with "car" if someone asks you a question ex "pourquoi tu fais ça?" "car....".But you're right parce que is more beautifull ."car" More used orally "car"express a cause, ex:Je mange car/parce que j'ai faim.
