Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
feminine countries/regions are a bit weird when it comes to prepositions, and are the cause of a number of exceptions. "de" instead of "de la", "en" instead of "à la"...
It's just an exception, really.
There a hidden rule about preposition usage with countries:
if the article doesn't merge with the preposition (as in du, au etc.) you get rid of it.
For expressing location (being "in" a country) the default preposition is à + article. However if the article doesn't merge with à, the preposition en is used instead.
