Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
first tip: don't take it as lazy passive learning. All these things you described are great, but you really need to focus on the language and work on it still. Games, music, comics, random videos in a language are great ways to improve while doing things you like, but it's real work and you'll feel exhausted doing it. There's no easy immersion. It will require your attention.
Easy ways that don't require lots of attention can help your ears, your brain, ease to the language, become more accustomed to it. By watching french movies with english subtitles for instance. You will be able to spot French with more ease and maybe discern some sounds more easily, but not understand or create sentences because of it.
