Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Or what's a formal way to ask to reschedule? Is it okay to say "reporter l'entretien"?

Orrr is it too formal to say something like "en vous remerciant de votre compréhension, je vous prie d'agréer l'expression de mes meilleurs sentiments"?
I know that it's common to use a closing like "je vous prie d'agréer...", but is it too much? Does it make me come across as overly formal?

Or should she state the reason for which she can't make it at the date they proposed? How do they do this in France??
