in passé composé, most verbs are conjugated with avoir, however there is a list of words that are conjugated with être
"venir" is a verb that you will have to conjugate with être, and when you do that, you have to apply subject-verb agreement (meaning: adding "s" if it's a plural subject, adding "e" if it's a feminine subject, etc.)
- elle est venue
- nous sommes venus
etc.
this picture will help you memorize which verbs you'll need to conjugate with être:
- any reflexive/pronominal verb (with "se", like se demander, se souvenir, etc)
there are other rules and exceptions, but for now, you can start with this

There are specific rules where you add an ending when using "avoir", but I wouldn't worry about that for the moment. Just something to keep in mind
