I suggest we set the LCP price at 125 euros (500 euros for a stake). All in favor say Aye.

Aye

We have a majority

#

Claim store is ready. We just have to activate it. Anyone in opposition?

#

Oh. I don't have access to the Federation Treasury. I think it is a pm privilege?

Think so. Generally it has been the pm that sells the lcp's

Go Pm! then

#

You can do this Decius!

Done.

I propose we grant (part of) this (#1444473185922715708 message) Christmas wish and sell lcp's for 25 to farmers

#

We don't need to include the stakes in the lowered price because it's more about the field size instead of the number of fields

25 is ways too cheap in my opinion. We would run out of papers pretty soon.

#

We could provide special loans to farmers who want to expand their land early though

There is a limit how many plots you can farm in a day. Don't think very cheap papers would increase the demand that much.

At least I'm not a farmer cos I would absolutely buy as many as I could afford. I'd say that if we do such a reduced price we'd have to put a limit of some kind if allowed or else we'd have no papers for anyone else.

I as a farmer ran plenty of times into that I just couldn't get more fields harvested in a day so I stopped buying papers. Easiest to get to that point is using districts, but loans/cheap papers can get to that point too. No problem setting a limit on the cheap papers though.

If a limit and protection against resale can be implemented, I have no objection to any reduction in price. Also, two of you need to vote on the revenue bill.

cloud crow
#

Believe only government shops are allowed to sell lcp's (haven't checked if that is still enforced though)

honest isle
#

I'm going to abstain from the vote here for not knowing enough, which means that any two MoP in favor is a majority for.

cloud crow
#

I personally believe its fully upto the PM themselves to set the price so you don't have to listen to us on this

#

but my "vote" is to have lower prices for farmers. We could limit those to 50 (example). That would need a in game law though that is upto MP's

honest isle
#

What bad thing would happen if we dropped the price to 25 for everyone? Would we run out?

cloud crow
#

I must say that I don't know how end of the cycle papers has been in the past. It will probably create a increase demand for them, but my guess is that it would be temporary. You can also limit the amount that are on sale just in case there is a rush on them.

honest isle
#

Is it sane to offer multiple price points with a different reserve on each?

cloud crow
#

that is fine too

honest isle
#

200 reserve 60, 125 reserve 80, 75 reserve 160, 50 reserve 200, 25 reserve 240? and of course alter the buyback to be the same. Theres 346 in right now. And claim stakes at 5x the price and 1/4 the reserve amounts.

#

Should there be concerns about complaints from people who already bought them? I'm happy to address those complaints on their merits, and I don't find them very meritous.

Lsst cycle, Federal Paper ran out due to low price for farmers.
