It has come to the attention of the Federal Government that there is at least one smuggler tunnel and discussion on more potentially being created.
There is some concern about the safety of these tunnels as well as the effect on public infrastructure and more conventional modes of travel. I would like to open debate in the house if the government should take action on these tunnels and what action(s) should be taken?

I respect our MoI for opening up this conversation. From observation these tunnel are private and mostly used by the creators.
Our existing government is also already creating a lot of legislation burden over our citizens. I rather keep this freedom open and not controlled.
My current stance is a vote against. I am open for discussion or change of heart if public feedback wish for this restriction
