Federal laws require that the owner of a property is compensated for the property being taken. For any unclaim request, whether it be a 3 day tent claim or 7 day abandoned, there must be a realistically fulfillable use for the land. A private citizen can request a piece of land they would like so long as the abandonment requirements are met. A public entity (town, state, or federation) must exhaust all other alternatives when planning a project, such as alternative locations. Zones and laws should be used to prevent players from claiming in an area where a project is planned, otherwise it cannot be considered protected from normal claiming. I can also help with suggesting alternatives as needed.
For an expedient approval process, I require the following information for each request:
- Whether you are buying it as a private citizen or public entity.
- What use you have for the land.
- Whether the land is a homestead stake or the stake of a town, state or federation.
- Screenshot of the owner's offline time (multiple for companies, one for each member).
- Screenshots of the property for determining value of the property.
If it is a homestead stake, you will need to have your own claim stake and paper ready or be prepared to clean up the property in its entirety. We cannot just unclaim a property and leave everything on it as a free for all to grab.
