I'll be able to hop on soon and take a look
Under federal law I.S3.3, Superior Industries is sentenced to a fine of 5 daily rates (16k euro) for excessive pollution. If they do not correct it, more fines will follow. @noble ore if you would please execute the fine and leave them a warning sign that would be much appreciated.
thank you so much. it got even worse when i just logged on. hopefully they do something quickly
@royal marsh thanks for looking into this. How is the suit paid out? I see you mentioned on my request to sue that you would look at Stan’s post first. Does the money go to us? This is my first time filing one
Well the question is: is there any damage to you/your business or is this just general environmental damage? To me it looked like general environmental damage as I did not see any established farms in the area but I could have missed something
It’s just general environmental so trees and wild crops around our property are dead but nothing personally planted
ok, then chances are you wont see any payout personally. if you were personally affected then you would be entitled to some form of damages payment. general environmental damage however is handled by the government through fines
Fine collected in full and sign left.
Hey, we looked into this before we got the notice about environmental damage. It did turn out we did not save our tailings below 40 block level. We stored them aroud 60 blocks below. Yesterday already we did sell ALL our Tailings and Garbage at TEEN SMELTING immediately when we found out about the 40 blocks mechanic. We are sorry we caused any damage. But given we took respective action immediately, we did not see this discord request and the damage caused is that plants to the north of Stan Weasel not on the property were killed the fine of 16k is completely unjustified. We would like to have most of it back to continue business.
You can already see that our property has much less ground pollution than other properties
I take it, you want this to be handled as an appeal to the issued fine?
So far I haven't seen any indication of the tailings to be stored above ground or in any malicious way to harm plants intentionally. Further, lacking screenshots, upon inspection I wasn't able to find any currently harmed plants. The mere color-change on a map doesn't constitute damages, especially not serious ones.
That being said, store your tailings responsibly: below ground and claimed. Jungles are a vital economic resource, its haphazard destruction would harm us gravely.
Downgraded due to lack of evidence to an administrative fine of 1.000 Euro, in accordance with I.3.1.
@noble ore Please repay the company 15k of the original 16k fine.
As an addendum: If you sue someone, please provide evidence to your claim. Same for an appeal.
