[SOC] Support for the development of Evergreen Garden. - Cultural goal

Hi dear secretary of culture, Evergreen Garden need your help to achieve his goals. The concept of our town is to make a really good looking town that will generate culture and also provide service to the citizen. We have many rules to make sure to achieve that and we have also many buildings projects that will require some financing. We have a tax in place but it's not enough to cover all our projects.

Here are the projects incoming :

• Finishing the City hall (the one you saw in general, a huge project that cost a lot but it really look good. Thanks to Fillion07 the builder on this project!)
• City Plaza : Someone has started building it yesterday, it will be the center piece of our downtown, with a cool design made with differents types of mortared stone. We will also add some decoration and a center piece on it.
• Construction of the walkway and the canal : We will make a nice looking walkway/alley in front of the stores in the downtown. It will be mostly for foot travel and be use as a service road too. The canal will give boat access to people from outside the town to come shopping.
• Building code : Since it got voted in, a building code will take effect at day 12 and will require people in the downtown to change their buildings to respect the code. That will create a synergy between every buildings. The city will probably try to help the people with less money to make those changes since mats are costly.
• City port : We have a simple design, but we want to upgrade it and at some little shops on it that people will be able to rent and consider their own to sell stuff.
• Museum, Bank, Lab, city power plant, water system, etc : To name a few of others projects

As you can see, we have a lot of things coming. Our main concern is our financing and it's not realistic to raise that amount of money only by taxing our citizens.

i would like to add, i am one of the highest rep player at the moment and my paintings are worth around 20-22.5 rep globally (only state of unica/fed is lower, with about 17 and 9 value, respectively). Any projects that you have requiring paintings I can gladly lend my art value to, as well as any towns out there.

The plans and details you have outlined look great. The Federal government is always seeking ways to support the buildup of significant cultural works and your projects sound like they will really make the city look great once done.

For these reasons, the Secretary of Culture (myself) will disburse a grant in the amount of 6,000 Euros to be used for the projects mentioned above. This is a grant, meaning as long as it used for the projects you've listed above it does not have to be paid back. Any type of misuse of the funds will result in immediate payback of the grant, plus potential litigation for malfeasance.

I and the Federation look forward to seeing the beautiful works in the town of Evergreen Garden!

@versed slate Hi dear secretary of culture! As you know, Evergreen have work a lot into making the town beautiful. Currently, we are also working on others projects that we hope will provide cultural value to the world. Projects such as : a gas station, an industrial port/dock with storage, a bank that should come eventually and a bigger and nicer museum. Our struggle is the same as before, money!!!!

I would like to know if it's possible to receive another grant for our projects? Here is a sneak peak of the gas station I am currently working on. It's not over yet but it already cost me some big bucks even if it's not that big :

I really like how Evergreen Garden has been looking so far, so how much would your city need in order to do the planned upgrades and buildings you mentioned?

@versed slate To be fair, it really depend of the budget, we will adapt it to what we are able to get. We have many ideas, but the cost will impact most of them

That's also why I will take adv masonry, to be able to make ashlar and sell it almost at the cost so we could make more projects

@versed slate I know it's not much details, but if you have more specific questions let me know, I could also list what we want to do more specificaly if it help a little bit, but just he differents builds I talked about in the demande are costly

I'm adding to that that we are working on a librabry too right now

Also, in the gast station we would like to sell food beside gasoline but we will probably never go for it since we would like an industrial fridge to make it look better and less empty (since there are not many furniture that fit well) but it's too expensive lol

I will definitely approve this project, and with more funding than last time since t3 and t4 mats are much more expensive. Looking at my own budget, I think around 18,000 Euros should be a good amount. This should ensure the town is able to continue on all of its projects. I look forward to seeing what other beautiful things Evergreen Garden will create!
