Although the new AI mode is a nice way for new players to grasp the basics of the game, it's somewhat disappointing for dedicated players. The bots simply aren't challenging enough to keep experienced players entertained. At best, it's a rather tedious way to prepare for a ranked match.
Here's my solution: Instead of investing additional time and resources to get the bots up to a point where they will be advanced enough for high-level players, an easier alternative could be to introduce a timer feature in the single-player AI mode. This timer would allow players to track their best completion times and display a leaderboard alongside the selected maps, showcasing the fastest clear times. This feature would introduce a fun speedrunning challenge that I believe many of us would find enjoyable.
