I can't discuss alternatives for iOS but android is an option. Rooting would be your best bet on that due to Google Play services pushing spoofing in the corner.

@balmy marlin since ++ is paused and unable to release another update we won’t be able to use ++. There fore people will have to go legit or be stuck might have to jump ship. I’m thinking other spoofing apps steal ++ code and will also be out of luck but we won’t know until the next update which could be today, tomorrow or in two weeks.
