The way I quest is trying to plan ahead.
For example every non-shiny Lotad I got during the event I stacked. Then I catch them with 3 stacked "Catch 10 Pokemon" quests for Houndour.
Makes it sooo much faster, not having to find every pokemon in the wild.

For Scyther quests I've been using Singapore map.
I've got all bug pokemon filtered in, sp,i can see where they are, stack 3 quests, and catch 10 bugs.
Monotonous, but effective.
