#Teach me how to kill kragg

sorry i meant to say more of what i was struggling with rather than just posting clips into the void
primarily i don't know how to navigate defense against kragg, nor do i know how to play neutral agains people who play him like the above clips
To lead:
Kragg is the heaviest character in the game*, and rock+pillar add additional tech oppurtunities for him to live, so killing kragg is quite hard, he (typically) will need to be at higher percents, and youll want to make sure there isnt anything to interupt his kb.
In these clips the main thing i am noticing is that Kragg is dictating neutral pretty hard, esp in the first one with rock. Kragg holding rock is a very potent offensive threat, but defensively, he lacks. Try to disrupt him a bit more, either with aggression (which can be tricky against rock) or with absa, fspecial cloud.
When kragg is holding rock he is completely unable to parry OR tech, his dodge/parry button does not exist for all intents and purposes holding rock. He has to first chuck it, then try to dodge/parry. Not to mention the time it takes to pull rock as well or that he cant double jump holding rock.
As a result you can use fspecial to pressure/disrupt a kragg holding rock, or to keep him on his toes to prevent him from pulling rock. Ofc the same is true if you are able to stay in a range where you can reach him before he can hit you with a rock. tho be careful, too close against a rockless kragg and he does have frame data.
Fspecial in the air can also be potent, besides having all the usual benefits of fspecial, you can also drift in the air, allowing you to move while fspecialing.
Parrying rock is obviously great, but it is far harder than it seems on paper, since the Kragg gets to choose when and how to chuck the rock, and can often wait untill you are in unreactably close rock throw ranges.
As such try to have other plans to navigate around rock rather than banking it all on parry. tho again, sometimes parry will be your best or maybe even only option.
Kragg does only have 2 ways to throw rock forward however, and can mix in one jump, while this is still plenty of variety, it does mean he can be restricted in options sometimes. Sometimes you can also defend yourself from rocks using moves with enough disjoint in front of you, namely lingering hitboxes that care less about needing to have good timing.
Big thing, is i think recognizing when you do need to approach him, both when and when not too, you arent obligated to close the distance, so only try to when it is ideal to do so. But also recognize when kragg is vulnerable to something, or when you should act preventatively. def def def get more comfy using fspecial as a harassment tool, to just make it harder for the opponent to do what they want without your permission.
also be careful about your thunderline usage (charged nspecial)
it is a good move, but it can leave you open
Also if someone ever pulls up in ras or any tourney with a skin like that or one where it’s hard for you to keep track of it or anything like that call them out on it and make them switch
