Hey everyone! I'm practicing Maypul at the moment and while I know basic DI kill confirms (dtilt/DA/UThrow -> Fair/UAir/USpecial) but I'd love something more concrete. For that matter I'm not too shabby on damage strings but nothing really bread and buttery, just whatever I can manage to happen, like bair strings, uair strings, utilt strings etc.

And before it gets posted yes I've watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12I3-nzdbWA and it's very helpful but I wasn't sure if people had more up their sleeves

Hey I’m fairly new to Maypul too but I’ve had a lot of success with setups into Lily (down b). There’s nothing too concrete, they’re very free flow and creative setups but it’s usually setting up Lily and then grabbing your opponent and throwing them into her, side b into the opponent to send then backwards into Lily if she’s behind you, or hitting your opponent with something like f-tilt to hit them forward into Lily if they’re closer to Lily. At higher percents, putting Lily on a platform can also be effective because your opponent will tend to be launched up more, so they’re more likely to be hit into Lily on a platform rather than the ground. Really it’s all about creativity and finding ways to trap your opponent into being forced into Lily so they get wrapped and you can follow up with a strong attack or a combo starter. I know this isn’t super concrete but I hope this helps a bit!

One cool tech is Maypul's reverse side B loops. You can input side B right, then immediately input left and you'll do a scooch to the left. This pulls your opponent with you and can be used in combos.

For instance, with a wrapped opponent on your right, reverse side B to the left and down strong. This re-wraps them so you can continue the combo.
