I'd say this comes under the whole "Don't ask to ask, just ask" thing, but could you try not to start threads by saying "This is a place to have that conversation" then waiting for someone else to say something meaningful on the topic? Instead, you could try starting the thread by saying what made you think about (Star Ocean, in this case), what you like about it, some recent news, etc, then peeps can engage with that :)

Well, 2 days ago, they released Star Ocean: The Second Story R, a remaster of the second game of the series. From what I've seen of it, they've perfected 2.5D. And added a few new mechanics to it, such as fishing, as well as being able to summon heroes from the other games to assist.
Even though it seems to only be the main protagonists in that summon list, it is pretty neat to see Fayt, Edge, Fidel, Raymond, and Laeticia in 16/32-Bit.
