King slime is not that bad, you’ve got 2 1/2 gold outright, 2 from royal gel, 50% chance for 5 from slimy saddle, 2 more from solidifier, one from the relic, and a chance for the pet, given how easy it is to summon him and how easy he is to kill he’s not terrible

It’s really difficult to exhaust your world’s supply of hellstone and queen bee summons though, and I’ll be honest neither of them really have long term value

i used this gear. use spirit flame as the main source of damage. use crystal assassin armor for phase 1 and 2 cuz its dash is far superior to SOC dash which makes it infinitely easier to dodge everything, switch to titanium/adamant/whatever else you wana use for phase 3 so that if your SOC dash is a dash towards him instead of away, you bounce off of him anstead of getting hit by him. using SOC is 100% what made phase 3 possible for me

There's a chance for it to randomly spawn upon certain conditions, but you generally do it manually with a suspicious looking eye.

The item can be found in chests but is also craftable
