Terraria's worst update: When they nerfed the Flying Dutchman "Black Spot" Mount

Nowadays I call it "Sh*t on Paper" because it used to be epic but now... ehhh... not so much

They REALLY need to release an update where they either A) Bring back the old Black Spot mount or B) Make a separate mount that can be crafted from the Black Spot and maybe the Cosmic Car Keys that basically has the functionality of the pre-nerf Black Spot mount, with maybe a couple of upgrades like it shoots lasers at nearby enemies or something.

I think the old black spot was a little op, but they nerfed it so much it has pretty much no use except refreshing wing time now

I never used it but I saw videos where people just used it to run away from bosses without ever having to dodge

And that's not okay for something you can get at the start of hardmode

If they really wanted to make the Black Spot USEFUL again, to make the players happy, then they should make a new mount where if players take the Black Spot, maybe a couple souls and the Cosmic Car Keys they could get the old pre-nerf Black Spot's functionality. Wasn’t as hard as I thought, or at least he wasn’t dealing as much damage as I expected with most attacks

Death sickle or any block-piercing can hard cheese him

Just keep him in the ceiling of the patio as much as possible, I’ve found that works to deal with his plasma and sometimes the fireballs

Only problem was, as usual, the light balls he fires, even then beat him first try
