My world is classic large. I went large since I usually get super attached to save files which is so annoying

@arctic lotus I would recommend more RAM, or seeing if your system (mainly motherboard) can take DDR3 ram instead of DDR2
simple things like that will increase performance massively, but you have to do the homework to check compatability
RAM is fairly cheap, and upgrading from 4GB stick to 8GB or 16GB stick (make sure to open up your PC and look at what you're using, the size of the slot DOES matter, if you are on a laptop)

No it isn't bad, but in the jungle you wont get worms from breaking grass, a bug called "grubby" (a blue slug-looking-bug) which is simaler in usage to Worms because it is a bait for fishing.
And if you want Worms, try breaking grass in forest or plain biomes
and make sure you are using a pickaxe or drill to break the grass or else nothing will pop out of the grass
