wizards can be dealt with by simply making the farm at a separate depth, enchanted swords you can use spider minion and walls under the walkway, and for biome mimic you can use a structure above the teleporter like shown here

wizards only spawn at the lower depths of the cavern layer, it you make your farm at the very start of the cavern then you'll have no issues

if you cba remaking the farm then I would suggest dart traps to try and stun lock them or hoiks if you can pull that off

it took forever to build it in the first place (not rlly but i don't have enough time now) so ig i'll have to deal with wizards then... the mimic part though, they kind of spawn, start flying through stuff and instantly appear in the afk box thing

when you're standing in the farm it'll prevent mimics from slamming down onto you

damn figured it out, i have the secondary slot mod which was bound to my right click, instead of upgrading the boxes it was trying to use my 2nd item. once i unequipped the slot i could right click. just need to find a way around the wrench thing so that i can move these boxes somewhere better

i assumed nothing was wrong with that since no other right click interaction has had issues at all, chests or doors anything. it's just the magic storage

and i got the wrench, it required an anvill which didn't register through the magical crafting box, i had to get a separate anvill to make it lol

I'd upgrade to at least a Sniper Rifle. You could also get a Stake Launcher from the Pumpkin Moon or Chain Gun, Elf Melter or Snowman Cannon from the Frost Moon before taking on the Duke, but you'll definitely want a Sniper Rifle or better weapon for those.

And yeah, I'd go for the Duke, Empress and post-Golem Old One's Army for their respective weapons and equipment.

Yeah. The armor sets that can be bought from them have some of the best raw stats when mixed with other armor pieces, and the Betsy weapons themselves are all great, if not excellent.

I started mediumcore last night and the goblin army spawn camped me for 3 hours. All i could do is dig holes and get Abigale flowers from my many graves until I finally managed to get a harpoon drop and was able to finish with just abigale and a harpoon using my many holes I dug between deaths. My loot halfway across the map and im glad I didn't crash but sheesh.

Im playing on master mode, btw. beside completing goblin army, I got my pylon network set up and my hellaevator.

You should choose better weapon for that. Flint only works for destroyer at best. But not Twins or Skeletron Prime

When you start hard mode it grows diagonal instantly, I don't know if isolating will stop it but it would lessen the load at least for future isolation

any isolation tunnels you make will not stop the Hardmode V, it will convert all it can into hallow and evil no matter the gaps

it can even hit your sky islands

Item Balance
We're already looking into some adjustments based on the feedback shared from everyone. It's too early to share anything - but we're cooking. This includes looking at individual items as well as the performance of the various classes in the game. It isn't a feasible goal for every class to have exactly the same performance given their different tradeoffs, but we do want to be sure that every class feels viable, fun, and at least in the same ballpark power-wise at similar skill levels. What that looks like remains to be seen - but we are giving things a look.
