you just need any kind of sand when you craft glass

just stand near water and the option should be there in the crafting menu

If you use a sand gun and fire at a wall with a torch under it while using ammo conservation buffs and armor then you get extra sand. The torch will automatically break the sand so you automatically pick it up and you just keep firing until you have the amount you want

@lavish star something like this is a good way to do a potion setup. having a chest full of herbs and potions materials in between where you make potions and flasks, having another chest for finished potions is nice too. and I have a bit of water under it. then also all the herbs nearby

Differences in architecture and OS can be the cause of incompatibilities. My brother in Christ, changing a launch option means the fix you used IS PART OF THE GAME. You are just putting the game into a more compatible mode for your system

You keep saying they won't optimize metal, which alone doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but then you use the fix that's built into the game and still complain that the devs wont fix it when THEY CLEARLY FIXED IT AND YOU ARE USING THE FIX

Because you have solid blocks touching the surface meaning the only water that counts is the water directly under you. You need to build 1 block higher or dig our enough cloud that the water is no longer touching the blocks

Vulkan is the most optimized one and is also the newest so some games doesnt support it

OpenGL is open source and exists everywhere

DirectX is Microsoft's own rendering engine, its good and does its job well

Programming is a bit more complicated than that. A lot of the time it's not that they are specifically programming for mac but depending on the language and APIs used there can be some level of compatibility. Terraria with it's default settings shouldn't run on mac at all as XNA and DirectX are Microsoft/windows specific. But through whatever mechanism weather it's additional APIs or compatibility layers like proton it can be played on other PC operating systems. Not all games will work flawlessly on all PCs and additional tweaks or workarounds may have to be used to get them to work properly if at all. For now terraria has a workaround but don't expect that for every game.

Macs overall have extremely poor compatibility and that's mostly due to extremely bad decisions by apple to make compatibility hard to try to lock down their platform as much as possible.

well thats what i've been trying to do, make it slow place, i made a group with specific's, long term, build good bases, fish/farm plants, get all the gear and weapons you can get for your class

some of the other people can't get on till later cause work or different time

but they don't care, they want to do bosses without them

they just say " " we can just fight it again " "thats not a real boss" "the others haven't been on all day so im just assuming they aren't gonna get on " " the boss drops is useless for the others"
