if you have demon scythe then just sit in the middle of the hands and spam it and dash into the hands as much as possible. If you're using a different weapon then I suggest trynna dodge the hands and focus them both but still just dash into them when they dash at you. If you have king slime mount that will help dodge the head/get out of the spin. Once he starts shooting skulls stay close to the head since it's easier to dodge them that way and retreat once he starts spinning. You can jump then dash when he's shooting the skulls if you want an easy way to dodge them

Some items have autoreuse by default.
Melee items and whips can then be all given autoswing with feral claws or upgrades.
Then on top of that there's a setting for it that applies to everything.

Most players keep the setting on all the time, because it's less efficient not to.

It used to have the same pickaxe power as the Molten Pickaxe despite not requiring any bosses to obtain, allowing one to destroy them with Hellstone gear incredibly easily. It could even mine Cobalt, so you didn't even need to blow up Hellstone to get a stronger pickaxe for Hardmode ore.

the bee armor just offers so little defense and the imp staff isnt great against it

for any difficulty just do circles around him and for expert and up do circles but watch out for the skulls he shoots.
Mobility is key so make sure you have a jump and some boots as well as plenty of platform to move around on.
As far as weapons go anything works, just be careful when playing melee as to not get too close.

If you're willing to get a little closer, I think flamethrower's actually a little better.
5 ticks per projectile vs Megashark's 7, and flamethrower has 35 base damage vs megashark's 25 + whatever from ammo. Flamethrower also has base 15 armour penetration.

Seems fine, just looks like a better flamethrower.

Does say it fires less than Flamethrower, at 6 ticks per projectile instead of only 5, but it has 18 more damage and innately inflicts frostburn.
I would maybe suggest also just going for snowman cannon, plant unlocks the path for rockets which are usually pretty good. If nothing else, it's a fun weapon.
